Arctic TERN - Parent bird with two chicks
Arctic TERN - Parent bird with two chicks (Sterna paradisaea). A long distance migrant that makes an annual round trip from its Arctic or northern breeding range to the Antarctic, where it spends winter. The breeding range extends through Iceland, Greenland, the Scandinavian and Baltic coasts, reaching into Siberia. Populations also occur in the United Kingdom and Ireland
