Marsh Crocodile
The marsh crocodile (Crocodylus palustris) ranges through freshwater rivers, lakes and marshes in India and Sri Lanka. It is also known as ^the mugger^ or ^mugger, ^ a corruption of the Hindi word ^magar^ which means ^water monster.^
