Domatium on Whistling Thorn Acacia
A domatium, or hollow home, has been cut open to show the ants and larvae inside. These structures are formed on the branches of the Whistling Thorn Acacia (Acacia drepanolobium) in Aitong province of Kenya, just north of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Coc
