Yellow-eyed Penguin - adult coming ashore at dusk to feed its chick which is hidden in the coastal vegetation (Megadyptes antipodes). Otago Peninsula, South Island, New Zealand. The Yellow-eyed penguin is endemic to New Zealand and hence the rarest penguin in the world. They are endangered because of loss of breeding habitat which is mainly transformed to farmland
