Pancake Rocks - famous flat limestone rock formations at Punakaiki in the shape of a man with a cap. Paparoa National Park, West Coast, South Island, New Zealand. These stony phenomenon was formed 30 million years ago from fragments of skeletons and shells. The limestone rocks then have been sculpted over the millenia by acid rain wind and sea water. The Pancake Rocks are one of the most famous sights in New Zealand
