King of Aragon's Steps. Bonifacio - South Corsica. The 187 stairs that lead from the city level down to the ocean level. Legend says that these 187 steps cut into the cliff-face were hewn in one night by King Aragon's soldiers - Alphonse V - during the siege of 1420
