Southern Right whale - a white calf swims near its normal dark-colored mother (Eubalaena australis). Off Puerto Piramide, Valdes Peninsula, Chubut Province, Patagonia, Argentina. Each year 3 or 4 white calves are seen in the right whale population that breeds in the gulfs of the Valds Penisula. Few of them seem to reach adulthood, white adults are almost never observed
