Southern Right Whale - white calf, head rise (Eubalaena australis). Off Puerto Piramide, Valdes Peninsula, Chubut Province, Patagonia, Argentina. Each year 3 or 4 white calves are seen in the right whale population that breeds in the gulfs of the Valds Penisula. Few of them seem to reach adulthood, white adults are almost never observed
