Marine Fossils of Late Cretaceous age. New Zealand, South Island, along coastline near Oaro, south of Kaikoura, a few kilometers north of Haumuri Bluff. Belemnites, snails, and fragments of other marine mollusc shells are visible in this tightly packed assemblage. Longest Belemnites shown on this photo are about 8 cm long
