Killer whales / Orcas - A pod of Transient type
Killer whales / Orcas - A pod of Transient type killer whales attacked and killed a Grey whale calf. At sunset, the killer whales are still feeding on the carcass (Orcinus orca). Monterey Bay, Pacific Ocean, California, USA. They were still there when we returned to the site at 7 AM the next morning, but left shortly afterwards
