Dinosaurs - Theropods: Tarbosaurus (Tyrannosaurus bataar). From the Late Cretaceous of the Gobi Desert, Mongolia. Tarbosaurus is a carnivorous dinosaur of Central Asia in the Tyrannosaur family; sometimes considered synonymous with Photo shows a full mount skeleton in the Gobi Desert Hall at the Museum of Natural History in Ulanbataar, Mongolia. The mural represents a Late Cretaceous scene, with the predator Tarbosaurus on the left, and several hadrosaurs, sauropods and smaller dinosaurs
