Dinosaurs - Geology (Coelophysis bauri). Ghost Ranch, New Mexico. A mass mortality site of the dinosaur Ceolophysis was discovered in the reddish strata near the center of the photo. The excavation site is visible left of center. Found in the Triassic Chinle Formation. The tall cliffs in the background are the Jurassic Entrada Formation
