Dinosaur excavation - a group of paleontologists and volunteers lift and turn over the huge pelvic bone of a Tyrannosaurus rex.. the badlands of South Dakota, USA. The top of the bone has been protected by a plaster jacket reinforced with several boards. Before transport to the lab, the underpart of the bone (seen on this photo) will also be protected with layers of burlap and plaster.model released
