WHALE SHARK - in bait ball (Rhincodon typus). Ningaloo Reef, W. Australia. Whale Shark is the largest fish. It's a harmless, filter-feeder. The baitfish form a tight school around the whale shark as refuge from predators, in this instance from Jacks / Travally (Caranx sp.) which were attempting to feed on the baitfish
