Red Goshawk - female (Erythrotriorchis radiatus). At Mataranka, Northern Territory, Australia. Female is a powerful raptor taking prey up to Brush Turkey size. Inhabits woodlands especially with some water and good bird populations. Found across northern and eastern coastal and sub-coastal areas of Australia but a very rare bird seldom seen and described as vulnerable and declining
