Gouldian Finch red-headed morph and Long-tailed Finch (Poephila) (Erythrura gouldiae). At a waterhole near Mt Barnett, Gibb River Road, Kimberley, Western Australia. About 24% of the population are red-headed morphs. Gouldian Finches occur across the Top End from the Kimberley to the far north of Queensland but in much smaller numbers than previously. Alongside is a Long-tailed Finch also coming to have a drink
