Common Sandpiper - wing stretching
Common Sandpiper - wing stretching (Tringa hypoleucos ). Roebuck Bay near Broome, Western Australia. Found along all Australian coasts and sometimes well inland along waterways and billabong edges. Not particularly common. Feeds alone and does not flock like other migrant waders. Latin also Actitis hypoleucos
