Apple Mangrove with pneumatophores (Sonneratia alba). Kimberley coastline near Sheep Island, Western Australia. Commonly found along the tropical northern Australian coastline. Also widespread from Africa through the Indian Ocean to the Pacific. The white flowers open for one night only. Has cone shaped pneumatophores which help to filter out salt
