Agile Wallaby

Agile Wallaby (Macropus agilis). Karumba, Queensland, Australia. Quite common and is considered a pest in farming areas as it will take crops and feed on pasture. Normally feeds on native grasses and in dry areas will dig for roots. Gives birth to one young annually and the joey will use the pouch for about 7 months. Found in the wet tropical areas of northern Australia and the southern Papua New Guinea lowlands
