England - Aerial view. Cluster of Neolithic sacred sites and Bronze Age barrows situated to the south-west of Cranbourne. Knowlton Circles, Dorset. The are 3 henges, arranged almost in a straight line. The central circle is about 100 metres across and is interesting because of the ruin of a church that stand as a Christian building within a pagan sanctuary. The southerly circle, the edge of which can be seen at the top right of the photograph, has a diameter of about 244 metres and is cut in half by a road. The circle at top left, covered by trees, is a large Bronze Age barrow
