Abandoned Boat on shore - Dungeness, Kent

Abandoned Boat on shore - Dungeness, Kent.. The beach at Dungeness looks like a dumping ground, but geologists are fascinated by the action of tides and wind on this extreme corner of Kent. Fishermen are here because the sea near the shingle beach is exceptionally deep - approx. 35 fathoms. It is an amazing place with abandoned trawlers and discardedfishing paraphernalia. September
