Fossilised skeleton of Diictodon - mammal-like reptile (therapsid) from late Permian times (Diictodon sp.). Karoo National Park, Beaufort West, Western Cape, South Africa. Probably fed on roots and tubers, dug up with strong clawed hand. Subterranean, living in corkscrew-shaped burrows
