Limestone rocks along river Chusovaya - the symbol of conquest of Siberia, the only river that flows from Asia to Europe cutting through the Ural Mountains.. Ural Mountains near Ekaterinburg, Russia; summer. The river was the very first way of Russian conquest of Siberia in 17th century, and later was widely used for transportation of steel, copper and other mineral resources from Urals back to European Russia. Now, with majority of villages along it abandoned and roads deteriorated, it gradually becomes wild again with increasing brown bears population (land is state owned)
